The Cosmic Dance

I wrote this poem for someone who was very interested in the Stars,Universe & Space.We would have conversations about it online

I met someone on line today
We spoke about the milky way
He taught me how to dream & dance
To look at the stars not just glance

We went to a world
all peaceful and kind
But you don't go by bus
you go in your mind

We watched shooting stars
As they whooshed all around
They sparkled and sprinkled
Then fell to the ground

This place is amazing
You can go anytime
You just close your eyes
And open your mind

It's a place in the Universe
That can't be bought
But it's easy to get there
It just takes some thought

So close your eyes
Fall into a trance
And soon you will be there
The Cosmic Dance...
