The Daughter's Mobile Phone

Oh my god Ive lost it
Life will never be the same
I think it might have fallen
Down that great big bloody drain

I've checked in all my pockets
My handbag and the chair
It looks as though I've dropped it
When i stepped outside for Air

Can someone try to call it
And listen for the sound
There's every chance I'll hear it ring
From underneath the ground

Should I call a plumber?
The council or the police?
Maybe I could tell her
It's been stolen by a thief

A mobile phone
Her pride and joy
It's what makes life worth living
Texting,Calling,Internet
Don't think she'll be forgiving
